Mid Week Read

Well it’s another late mid week read and this weeks excuse is that I’m tired and forgot to write this all last night and I was just down right lazy today. But it is here and well what’s happening? It’s challenge cup weekend in the UK and we’re on to NRL round 4.

Wakefield have laid to rest Leon Walker who died in a reserve game last week

And Wakefield captain Jason Demetriou apologised for not winning against Saints in memory Walker, which to be honest I feel sounded a bit silly, yes you want to win a game as send off to the player but there’s no real need to offer a formal apology if you don’t.

Whilst we’re on the BBC you can ask Sam Burgess some questions if you fancy.

Phil Clarke is talking about the grapple tackle, a problem or non problem depending how you see it that has hit the UK game after all the fall out over it in the NRL last season
