Paul Gallen flattens David Stagg

From Round 20 Cronulla Vs Brisbane.

Paul Gallen found himself on report for this shot on David Stagg which left the Brisbane player rather dazed on the floor.

No stranger to a disciplinary committee Paul Gallen found an ally in David Stagg’s wife whom Stagg said thought he was falling into the tackle. Whilst he will have to wait at least a few days to find the outcome of being placed on report the decision will no doubt be down to viewing the incident as careless or calculated.

Personally I think it’s a lazy tackle, Gallen not getting down enough and just throwing himself into Stagg.
