The Mid-Week Read
Welcome to one of this season’s new features “The Mid-week read”. It will basically be a collection of links to articles that might be worth a look out from various other sites. Just to give you something to keep you going till the weekend.
Now as I only decided to start this yesterday the set of links is just a randomly cobbled together but is mostly looking at who might be performing in this years Super League. Also mid-week will generally be on Wednesday but I’m a busy man so it may well turn on different days over the season. Anyway read on!
(all links open in new windows)
If you’re in the UK you can get a Daily Mirror Rugby League pull-out in the paper today (04/02/2009)

World club challenge promo
As the first weekend of Super League action approaches here’s a rather uninspiring promo video that’s been floating around youtube for the World Club Challenge. I can’t help thinking it would be nice to play in Australia rather than doing it over here all the time. I think that would give much more credit to the event down under.
Anyway if you’ve checked out the Super League website there’s a poll to see who supporters think will this years Super League winner and currently Hull are topping it, I think some Hull fans may have gotten carried away with the voting.
